Highlights
- Advising and representing AS Liviko (a leading Estonian producer and wholesaler of alcoholic drinks) and its CEO in pre-trial investigation and subsequent criminal court proceedings against an allegation of price fixing with a competitor and infringing the cartel prohibition;
- Advising and representing UAB Clear Channel Lietuva (Lithuanian business of a world leading outdoor advertiser) before the Lithuanian Competition Council and courts in an investigation into the conformity of agreements between the Vilnius City Municipality and a competitor of the client to State Aid rules (the total value of agreements being about EUR 14 million);
- Represents Viasat AS, one of the biggest digital pay-TV operators in the Baltic States, in the investigation conducted by the Competition Council on alleged abuse of dominant position in the pay-TV channels wholesale supply market;
- Advising and representing Recticel (a Belgian Group manufacturing polyurethane foam products) before the Estonian Competition Authority in multiple merger filings in a number of its operations on Estonian market, including obtaining a clearance following an extensive “phase two” investigation by the authority regarding one of the operations;
- Advising and representing G4S UAB Lietuva (a leading security services provider in Lithuania and part of a world leading security solutions group G4S) before the administrative courts in a case addressing conformity of orders by Police Commissioner General - enabling the police to provide property security services on a commercial and contractual basis - to Art 4 of the Law on Competition;
- Represents one of the biggest wholesalers of pharmaceuticals and healthcare products in Lithuania UAB Tamro in the ongoing cartel investigation on the vertical agreement of the companies engaged in the wholesale business of pharmaceuticals, medical goods and medical devices.
