Highlights
- We are representing Grove Invest in claim against SEB Bank and SEB Leasing in the amount of ca 10 MEUR;
- We have successfully represented Swedbank and Swedbank Leasing in complicated VAT dispute against Estonian Tax and Customs Board (litigation). The dispute was connected with the meaning of the word “enterprise” in VAT Act;
- We have successfully represented a Nordea Bank Finland Plc in a civil case initiated on the basis of the claim filed by the lessor of commercial premises against the lessee Nordea Bank Finland Plc to award the rent fee and damages. In this case the court of first instance as well as the Court of Appeals rejected the claim of the lessor against Nordea Bank Finland Plc and ruled out that the claimant’s claims against the bank were ungrounded;
- Represented Balti Investeeringute Grupi Pank AS (BIG BANK) – one of the largest specialised banks in the sector of consumer loans – before the Advertising Association Reklamos Biuras and the Competition Council of the Republic of Lithuanian in the dispute regarding misleading advertising.
