7 lawyers joining Tark & Co

07.05.2008

In May, Tark & Co Law Offices recruited seven new colleagues: Erki Kergandberg, Margo Lemetti and Piret Blankin as partners, Alo Noormets, Elmer Muna and Lada Riisna as associates, and Jaana Penne as a lawyer.

"Our new colleagues share our vision of strategic perspective and developments, which Tark & Co has spoken about to the public. Engagement of accomplished colleagues reinforces Tark & Co's position as a leading corporate and commercial law firm in Estonia," managing partner of Tark & Co, Aare Tark, said.

"For experienced and talented people it is only natural to seek new challenges. Our new colleagues joined Tark & Co on general grounds like many of our profession before and we are glad to welcome new colleagues at all times," Tark added.

The new partner, Erki Kergandberg, said he valued highly the experience he gained from one of the leading Estonian law offices, Law Office Aivar Pilv. "Yet, I realise that joining Tark & Co Law Offices would offer me an international ground -the Baltic States and beyond, especially as regards resolution of disputes arising at advising transactions," Kergandberg added.

"Tark & Co's international contacts and team experience, as well as their extensive corporate and commercial law coverage, which ranges from mergers and acquisitions to resolution of daily disputes, were the main impetus for my joining Tark & Co. Tark & Co will now have an office in Tartu to share their extensive experience and practice with the clients there also in the areas, which was thus far not available in Tartu and South-Estonia," Margo Lemetti joining Tark & Co as a partner, said.

Six of the newcomers to Tark & Co previously worked for Law Office Aivar Pilv. Lada Riisna was formerly engaged as a lawyer in Eipre & Partners Law Office.
