Partner Hannes Vallikivi participated in the 27th International Financial Law Conference

Tark & Co partner Hannes Vallikivi participated in the 27th International Financial Law Conference of the International Bar Association (IBA) held from 19 to 21 May in Warsaw. The Financial Law Conference is one of the most popular IBA practice areas conferences. The conference focused on the most important developments in finance, securities and banking law and practice.

A regular session of the Banking Law Committee, of which Hannes Vallikivi is a member, was also held at the time of the Financial Law Conference. At its sessions, the Committee plans future conferences and other activities relating to publication, involvement of IBA members, etc. The next session of the Committee will be held in October in Vancouver, Canada, as part of the IBA Annual Conference.

Hannes Vallikivi, who is in charge of Tark & Co’s banking and finance group, has been a co-chair of the Legal Opinions Sub-Committee of the IBA Banking Committee from 2009. He has also been a member of the Tallinn Stock Exchange Listing & Surveillance Committee from the year 2007. The recently published Chambers Europe 2010 recognizes Hannes Vallikivi as one of Estonia’s foremost banking and finance experts.
