We are very pleased to announce that Rolan Jankelevitsh, who has been a senior associate with TARK GRUNTE SUTKIENE Estonia’s office since 2007, was promoted to the partnership on 16 February 2011. All together, law firm TARK GRUNTE SUTKIENE now has 16 partners, with eight in Estonia, two in Latvia and six in Lithuania.
Rolan Jankelevitsh is a renowned expert in tax and contract matters as well as in several other areas of law. He has been leading the firm’s tax practice from 2007. Thanks to Rolan’s excellent work as head of the taxation practice group, TARK GRUNTE SUTKIENE’s tax practice has received much praise from a number of international publications, including the leading tax industry publication International Tax Review. According to Chambers Europe 2010, a respected research publication for the legal industry, Rolan is recommended by clients as a lawyer who is “responsive, clear in his advice and very much to the point.”
Rolan holds an LL.M. degree in International Taxation from Leiden University in the Netherlands and has been a member of the Estonian Bar Association since 2002. Besides the Estonian Bar Association, Rolan Jankelevitsh is a member of the Estonian Young Lawyers’ Association and the International Fiscal Association (IFA).
