Successful Tark Grunte Sutkiene Open Golf tournament held in Ozo Golf Club

On 4 September, Ozo Golf Club hosted the participants of Tark Grunte Sutkiene Open Golf tournament – lawyers, clients, colleagues and friends of the law firm, Tark Grunte Sutkiene. Despite heavy rain in the morning, more than 90 golf players from Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania and Finland competed in the tournament. The winner of the golf tournament Webmedia Group management board member Taavi Kotka, left Tark Grunte Sutkiene Latvian managing partner Ivars Grunte in the second place. The third place went also to Latvia, to Jānis Lielcepure, who is Prudentia chairman of the council.

Along with the sports activities, the participants also took part in a charity event by donating to SOS Children’s village association, which is a long-term co-operation partner of Tark Grunte Sutkiene in all three Baltic states to which the lawyers willingly provide legal assistance.

The peak of the tournament was the presentation of prizes, including shirts of “Dinamo” Riga hockey players with all the autographs, and an auction, where the fans of „Dinamo” bid money for the team captain’s Sandis Ozolins shirt with the autographs and for the photo personally signed by Ozolins with „magic” 21 santims thanks to which „Dinamo” sensationally got into a semifinal of the KHL Western conference. More than 500 lats gained at the auction were also donated to the children living in SOS villages.
