At the instigation of Tark & Co partner, Risto Vahimets, a new practical book on “Mergers and Acquisitions: An Alternative to Organic Business Growth” has been published.
The book gives an overview of the types and structuring of transactions, drafting of the merger and acquisition documents as well as of the relevant rules of procedure, takeover bid and planning of business activities after the merger or acquisition.
According to the compiler and co-author of the book, Risto Vahimets, this book is a very practical guide and handy tool for everyone planning or implementing major corporate transactions. "The number of merger and acquisition transactions in Estonia has recently grown and, therefore, related advice and know-how are in great demand. We wrote this book out of our own experience in view of the main questions and expectations of our clients, as well as of the common mistakes in the merger and acquisition transactions. We expect this book to become a "must-read" for every top manager," Vahimets said.
Co-authors of the book are Marit Savi, Minni-Triin Park, Meelis Hint, Margit Lahevee, Kristi Kullerkup, Kuldar-Jaan Torokoff, Andres Siigur, Piret Jesse, Allar Aru, Rolan Jankelevitš and Tanel Tark, all of Tark & Co.
The book will be on sale in major bookshops in December.
