Tark & Co held a M&A seminar

On 28 February, Tark & Co in liaison with Tallinna Konverentsid held a seminar on “Mergers and Acquisitions: An Alternative to Organic Business Growth.”

The seminar was conducted in the form of presentations given by the top specialists in the field, who handle the issues daily. The presentations were given by Risto Vahimets, partner and head of the M&A Division of Tark & Co Law Offices; Hele Hammer, CFO of Amserv Group, and sworn advocates Rolan Jankelevitsh, Margit Lahevee, Marit Savi, Allar Aru and Minni-Triin Park of Tark & Co Law Offices. The topics discussed in detail included structuring of transactions, company valuation, taxation of transactions, business concentration control, Due Diligence, share acquisition contracts and shareholders agreement.
Each presentation was followed by a relevant case discussion.

The seminar gave practical advice on the mergers and acquisition along with an overview of the new developments in the sphere from both legal as well as business perspectives.
