The 2008 edition of IFLR 1000 listed Tark & Co as a tier 1 firm in two categories: Banking and capital markets and Mergers and acquisitions. Top Estonian lawfirms were divided into four tiers, tier 1 firms being the most recommended.

The guide writes about Tark & Co: "client extolled the lawyers as standing out in Estonia because they "take responsibility for their work - they don't only do what you tell them, but they think independently in the Western style".

A competitor summed up the general sentiment on the market with respect to HannesVallikivi: "He is very reasonable and has good legal knowledge. He is goal-oriented and gets things done." Market opinion also ranks him, along with Raidla's Raino Paron, as one of the top two lawyers in the country in capital markets.
