The Commercial Register lowers barriers and speeds up proceedings

The Parliament adopted a statute which speeds up proceedings at the Commercial Register. Now it is possible to file applications for making certain entries in the Register over the Internet, without the help of a notary. While the expedited procedure is expected to take 2 hours, the period for general applications was shortened from 15 to 5 days. Whether and to what extent the above will work in practice is yet to be seen.
