The Parliament lowers state fees

Taking a cost-oriented approach, the parliament lowered several state fee rates by amending the State Fee Act. The amendments are effective from 1 January 2007. Both the stamp duties for operations of the Land Registry and Commercial Register were significantly lowered. In addition, several M&A-related registry entries are now fully exempted from stamp duty (e.g. entry of merger of legal entities with the registry).
