• Counselled IDS BORJOMI BEVERAGES Co. N.V., the only producer of the Georgian mineral water BORJOMI, on the initiation of the bankruptcy proceedings against the former distributor of the company’s products UAB Accuratus, on award of the debts and damages, determination of the true reasons for insolvency of the company, indemnification for damage caused to creditors and other related issues. Also, provided legal services to IDS BORJOMI EUROPE, UAB, a subsidiary of international company GEORGIAN GLASS & MINERAL WATER CO. N.V., on issues related to the quality, marking and import requirements of the production supplied to the market as well as served the client as its main legal adviser in various daily matters;
• Served as a main legal regulatory adviser to the representatives in Lithuania of leading global pharmacy companies such as UAB Novo Nordisk Pharma, a representative in Lithuania of Novo Nordisk, a global healthcare company with 87 years of innovation and leadership in diabetes care, and UAB Valentis and UAB Valentis Pharma, a leading representative and supplier of innovative branded and generic pharmaceuticals and food supplements in South East Europe, on matters related to distribution and production of products as well as other regulatory matters (2010);
• Represented on regular basis international pharmaceutical companies such as H.Lundbeck A/S, TAMRO, Boehringer Ingelheim in patent protection, regulatory, restructuring, business optimisation matters. The legal services involve assistance in the relations with the regulatory authorities, license and permit matters, employment, contractual, tax issues in their daily activities (2010);
• Counselled on notification on food supplements, represented interests of the company in relations with various public authorities; drafted letters and enquiries to regulators; advised on conclusion and performance of contracts used in the activities of the company; drafted services agreements, copyright agreements and other agreements (2008);
• Counselled Mars Lietuva on various legal issues regarding termination of contracts, conclusion of confidentiality agreements, agreements with PR agencies, personnel rotation and other issues of general commercial law (2008);
• Counselled the company on possibilities of reimbursement for a medical product; cleared up various issues with the Department of Pharmacy, the State Medicines Control Agency and the State Patient Fund (2008);
• Represented the client’s interests in the State Food and Veterinary Service and in territorial units of this service in connection with import of the mineral water Borjomi into the Republic of Lithuania and permission for customs clearance (2008);
• Assisted in connection with legal due diligence of UAB MG Baltic Media and its subsidiaries (2007-2008);
• Represented an association uniting manufacturers of food supplements (2007);
• Participated in legal due diligence of AB Stumbras (2007);
• Counselled an international concern engaged in wholesale of medicines and medical purpose products (2007).
