Experience:

• Represented a leading producer of wooden and wooden-aluminium windows in Lithuania the company Doleta in a civil dispute against the bank Swedbank regarding validity of unilateral termination of the loan agreement in the amount of EUR 5.7 million. The Law Firm also represented the company Doleta in the bankruptcy case initiated by the bank Swedbank against the company Doleta (2010);
• Represented a subsidiary of ORLEN Lietuva, AB Ventus-Nafta, which operates in the field of retail sales of refined petroleum products and holds a network of petrol stations, in a civil dispute with a former manager of the company and a party to the franchise agreement regarding compensation for damages and disputing illegal amendment to the franchise agreement concluded between AB Ventus-Nafta, represented by the former manager of the company, and the franchisee. The claim is based on the fact that the former manager of the company exceeded the limits of his competence and failed to comply with the rule of quantitative representation provided for in the Articles of Association of the company (2010);
• Represented the Latvian company SIA MODO RIGA, which specialises in construction of golf courses, in Klaipeda Regional Administrative Court in the dispute against the State Tax Inspectorate of the Republic of Lithuania regarding the decision of State Tax Inspectorate to start exaction of tax debt from the client (2010);
• Represented NORDEA BANK FINLAND PLC in a civil case initiated on the basis of the claim filed by the lessor of commercial premises against the lessee NORDEA BANK FINLAND PLC for award of the rent fee and damages. In this case the courts of first instance as well as the appeal court rejected the claim of the lessor against NORDEA BANK FINLAND PLC and ruled that the claimant’s claims against the bank were ungrounded (2010);
• Represented a former manager of a major travel service company of Lithuania Tez Tour in the dispute regarding compensation of damages incurred by undue governance of the company (2010);Represented a company operating in the construction sector in its dispute with the former director and other former employees of the company as well as with a competing company incorporated thereby regarding the invalidation of a contractor's transaction not beneficial to the company, application of restitution and indemnification for damages caused by the actions of unfair competition and by transactions which are not beneficial to the company (2008);
• Represents UAB TAMRO and UAB Northway medicinos centrai in civil cases against the administration of the Vilnius City Municipality and other persons regarding invalidation of the concession contract on Naujosios Vilnios Clinic (2008);
• Assisted in connection with legal due diligence of SANITAS (2008);
• Represented UAB CMA CGM Lietuva, a subsidiary of the world's third-largest freight company CMA CGM, in its dispute with the employee regarding the legality of dismissal from work (2008);
• Counselled AB BLRT Grupp Invest on conclusion of real estate sale-purchase agreements; represented the interests of the client in negotiations (2008);
• Represented an execution officer in administrative case against the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Lithuania in dispute over the part of order of the Minister of Justice regarding special inspection of organising of execution officer‘s work. The administrative court cancelled the disputed part of order of the Minister of Justice regarding special inspection of organising of execution officer‘s work (2008);
• Represented bank NORDEA Finland PLC in civil case against the lessee of commercial premises in dispute over awarding of the rent and damages. The court dismissed the lessee‘s claim to NORDEA Finland PLC and recognised the claimant‘s claim against the bank ungrounded (2008);
• Advised a client in negotiations on sale-purchase of controlling interest the value of which was LTL 3,390,000. Upon failure of the transaction, prepared procedural documents in the civil case regarding recovery of damages sustained because of breach of the preliminary share sale-purchase agreement by the sellers (2007);
• Advised the major real estate agencies of Lithuania on founding of association; represented the founders in the process of founding of the Association of Real Estate Agencies of Lithuania (2007).
